The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank said in an episode of ECCB Connects that it will again offer its free generative artificial intelligence and Python coding summer camp, marking the third edition of the program. Jointly sponsored by the ECCB and the Republic of China (Taiwan), the camp is positioned as a youth skills initiative covering Python programming, artificial intelligence, data analytics and multimedia design. In outlining the program, Senior Project Specialist Sybil Welsh said the 2026 camp will add real clients, access to certification and a hybrid option for participants who cannot attend in person. She also cited earlier participation figures and outputs, with more than 200 students from three countries joining the pilot camp in 2024 and producing 16 chatbots, followed by 387 students from seven countries in 2025 who produced 21 chatbots.
