The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan announced that it has joined the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development’s International Network on Financial Education (OECD INFE) as a full member, expanding its international cooperation on financial literacy in support of financial inclusion. Full membership provides the central bank with the right to participate in INFE working groups on financial literacy standards (implementation and evaluation), digital financial literacy, and financial literacy and sustainable finance. It also enables direct involvement in the development of international policy documents and access to INFE’s existing policy document database, supporting the central bank’s efforts to align financial literacy programmes with international standards and improve information accessibility.
