The Superintendency of Banks of Panama hosted a delegation from Honduras’ National Commission of Banks and Insurance (CNBS) for an exchange of knowledge and experience on good practices in consolidated supervision. During the 25–27 February 2025 visit, the CNBS representatives reviewed the Superintendency’s processes, with a focus on the design and operation of supervisory colleges and the risk profiling of financial conglomerates. The working sessions were described as interactive and aimed at helping CNBS assess the adoption of new supervisory tools, with the Honduran delegation led by acting Superintendent of Banks Omar Colindres and participation from the Superintendency’s Financial Conglomerates Supervision Directorate and International Affairs and Projects Directorate.
