The Central Bank of West African States has published a list of structures authorised to operate as payment institutions, in line with Instruction No. 001-01-2024 on payment services in the West African Monetary Union. As at 28 February 2026, 31 structures were authorised across the Union, comprising two in Benin, two in Burkina Faso, nine in Côte d’Ivoire, one in Guinea-Bissau, two in Mali, one in Niger, eleven in Senegal, and three in Togo.

The Central Bank of West African States has released a list of 31 authorised payment institutions under Instruction No. 001-01-2024 for the West African Monetary Union. The distribution includes two in Benin, two in Burkina Faso, nine in Côte d’Ivoire, one in Guinea-Bissau, two in Mali, one in Niger, eleven in Senegal, and three in Togo.
