Core CPI inflation (computed by the Central Bank of Egypt) recorded 0.8 percent month on month, compared with 2.0 percent in October 2025 and 0.4 percent in November 2024, while annual core CPI inflation rose to 12.5 percent from 12.1 percent in October 2025. The Central Bank of Egypt reported a moderation in urban headline CPI inflation to 12.3% annually in November 2025, down from 12.5% in October. However, core CPI inflation increased to 12.5% annually, up from 12.1% in the previous month. Monthly inflation data will be published on December 15, 2025.
