In Salavan, the central bank's role is to provide guidance and help advance provincial work, with discussions centered on implementation progress, operational difficulties and support needs linked to rural development, poverty reduction and broader socio-economic development. Meetings with provincial party and administrative leaders reviewed implementation of the 12th Party Congress resolution, the 10th five-year national socio-economic development plan, the 10th Salavan provincial party congress resolution, the national agenda on rural development and poverty reduction, and Resolution 04 on building an independent and self-reliant provincial economy. The governor also heard provincial proposals and discussed approaches to address specific obstacles. Separately, the visit included attendance at the ceremony establishing Tapuen subdistrict in Ta-Oy district and an outreach meeting with local residents to encourage participation in local development. Tapuen is one of five subdistricts in Ta-Oy district.
