The Algeria Market Authority has launched Algeria’s first professional master’s program specializing in Islamic financial markets for the 2026-2027 academic year. The initiative extends the authority’s capacity building work in Islamic finance and is intended to develop expertise in financing mechanisms outside traditional frameworks, including sukuk issuance. The authority will implement and oversee the two-year program with the University of Algiers 3 and the Banking Training Institute. It combines academic and practical instruction for professionals in finance, banking, insurance and listed companies. Sixty places are available, with applicants required to hold at least a bachelor’s degree and have relevant professional experience.
