The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Finance reported on its participation in meetings of BRICS finance ministers and central bank governors and the New Development Bank Board of Governors in India. The BRICS meeting launched the BRICS-NDB Knowledge Portal and adopted a joint statement, while the bank’s governors discussed its General Strategy for 2027–2031. The UAE supported continued work by the BRICS Task Force on Growth and Development, particularly on digital transformation, innovation, growth enhancing reforms, labor mobility and future skills. It also called for stronger coordination between successive BRICS presidencies and offered to contribute national expertise to the Knowledge Portal. In discussions on the New Development Bank strategy, the ministry highlighted priorities covering technology, innovation, financing for digital transformation, higher climate finance targets and greater representation of women.
