The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with a United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) delegation to discuss expanding cooperation on digital inclusivity and improving access to financial services for women in rural areas. The discussions concluded with an agreement to implement pilot projects to strengthen financial literacy in several regions and to integrate financial education into UNDP’s ongoing initiatives. The cooperation agenda also covered the use of multiple channels to improve financial accessibility and the potential for sociological research, involving international experts, to identify behavioural factors influencing access to financial services.
