The Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority announced it is fully prepared to take part in the 49th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (Saba Saba) and will operate an “Insurance Village” intended to connect the public with insurers and provide insurance education and access to cover during the fair. The Insurance Village will include multiple insurance companies and an NHIF booth, offering services covering motor vehicle, health, agricultural and life insurance, among others, alongside opportunities for visitors to provide feedback. The update follows a pre-fair seminar hosted at TANTRADE’s offices, where organisers highlighted expanded digital services such as ticket purchasing and improvements to transport access to exhibition stands, with the fair scheduled to run from 28 June 2025 to 13 July 2025.
