Isle of Man's Treasury has reminded employers and contractors that annual tax returns for the tax year ended 5 April 2025 are due by 5 May 2025, with a one-day allowance because the Income Tax Division is closed on the statutory due date. Returns submitted on or before 6 May 2025 will not be treated as late. Submissions made on or after 7 May 2025 will incur a GBP 250 penalty. A further GBP 50 per day may be charged for each day the return remains outstanding after the GBP 250 penalty is applied, and penalties do not remove the requirement to file, with prosecution possible for failure to submit. The notice also highlights that employers with fewer than five employees who are not registered for online services can still file online by registering for the service.
