The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission said the Financial Secretary has appointed Bernard Man, SC, and reappointed Vincent Chan Chun-hung as non-executive directors for two-year terms starting on 1 August 2026. The changes update the SFC's board composition, with Chan continuing in the role and Man joining as a new board member. The SFC said Man brings commercial litigation experience, including work in banking, corporate and personal insolvency, and company disputes. It also thanked outgoing non-executive director Victor Dawes, SC, who is retiring after six years on the board and has chaired the Investor and Financial Education Council since November 2021.
