The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan held a presentation for representatives of domestic investment companies on “the most common errors in issuance prospectuses”, as part of its capital market development initiatives. The session focused on improving the quality of prospectuses and supporting a more efficient and transparent securities issuance process. The presentation covered frequently observed deficiencies in prospectuses, practical examples, and an assessment of these issues against the requirements of applicable normative legal acts. Participants also received recommendations on preparing issuance documents correctly and comprehensively, with discussion of practical approaches and a Q&A. The Central Bank indicated it will continue awareness-raising activities aimed at improving securities issuance practices and supporting regulatory compliance, including through better communication around issuance processes and attracting new issuers to the capital market.
