The Central Bank of Iraq launched an Index for Access to Financing for medium, small and micro enterprises (MSMEs), developed under its National Lending Strategy in cooperation with the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) and the Iraqi Association of Private Banks, to serve as a guide for entrepreneurs navigating multiple loan providers and to support easier access and faster procedures for obtaining financing.
