The US Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) published a list of Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) performance evaluations that became public between April 1, 2025 and April 30, 2025, covering 25 national banks and federal savings associations. The set includes 11 institutions rated Outstanding and 14 rated Satisfactory, with no ratings of Needs to Improve or Substantial Noncompliance reported in this release. CRA evaluations assess an institution’s record of meeting the credit needs of its entire community, including low- and moderate-income neighbourhoods, consistent with safe and sound operations. Institutions receiving Outstanding ratings in this batch included Citibank, National Association (Sioux Falls, SD), The Huntington National Bank (Columbus, OH), OceanFirst Bank, National Association (Red Bank, NJ), and several Illinois-based institutions. The OCC noted that its website provides a searchable archive of public CRA evaluations issued since April 1996 and a list of institutions scheduled for CRA compliance examinations in the next two calendar quarters.
