The Financial Action Task Force of Latin America (GAFILAT) announced that it is opening its CAMPUS GAFILAT platform to the general public, offering a set of free, self-paced online courses to mark the International Day of Prevention against Money Laundering. The course catalogue includes “Regional Threats in Money Laundering in Latin America” (Spanish), “Virtual Assets and Virtual Asset Service Providers” (Spanish and English), “GAFILAT Regional Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Typologies 2021–2022” (new), and a new comprehensive course on the 40 Financial Action Task Force (FATF) Recommendations and an introduction to the evaluation methodology aligned with the FATF’s fifth round update. Courses are aimed at stakeholders in GAFILAT member countries, the FATF Global Network, and the wider public, and are delivered as asynchronous, self-guided e-learning modules. Registration is open from 27 October to 2 November, with enrolment information to be published via GAFILAT’s official social media channels. Access to course content runs from 15 November to 14 February 2026.
