Bergans is not registered with or authorized by the authority, but appears to be providing investment services and advice and collecting money from consumers for that purpose. The authority advised consumers to reject offers from Bergans or BC Edufin Academy, which has been subject to bankruptcy proceedings since Feb. 16, 2026. It also noted that Bergans advertised training on forex trading, products whose distribution is banned in Belgium, and reminded consumers that participation in a pyramid scheme may carry criminal liability as well as a risk of financial loss.
