The Bermuda Ministry of Finance is leading a government delegation to the SALT Wyoming Blockchain Symposium from Aug. 17 to 20, 2026, to advance regulatory cooperation with United States counterparts and support Bermuda’s planned transition to an onchain national economy. Led by the premier and finance minister, the delegation includes representatives from the ministry and the Bermuda Monetary Authority. The delegation will meet U.S. regulators, legislators and digital asset firms operating or seeking to expand in Bermuda. Discussions will cover regulatory comparability as the U.S. GENIUS Act is implemented, business relocation under Bermuda’s Digital Asset Business Act, stablecoin adoption, tokenization in insurance and reinsurance, and mutual recognition of regulatory frameworks. A bilateral meeting with the Wyoming Stable Token Commission will build on the cooperation agreement in place since 2021. Bermuda will share the outcomes of the delegation’s meetings after the symposium.
