The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Finance launched the “UAE Global Cadres” initiative to raise awareness among Emirati professionals and students of training, secondment and career opportunities available at international financial organisations. The programme targets Emiratis working in the UAE and those studying at academic institutions in the UAE and abroad. The initiative will be delivered through educational workshops and interactive sessions and is intended to help participants build international professional networks and gain high-level training and practical exposure to international best practices. It will be implemented in partnership with international financial institutions, with the ministry citing the UAE’s memberships including the World Bank Group, International Finance Corporation, International Fund for Agricultural Development, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, New Development Bank, Arab Monetary Fund and OPEC Fund for International Development.
