The Central Bank of Ireland has issued a warning that AGF International Advisors Company Limited and/or Iron-Cap, also styled IRONCAP, is not authorised to provide investment services or investment business services in Ireland. The notice relates to a fraudulent entity offering fake investments in Iron-Cap/IRONCAP and operating the websites www.iron-cap.com and https://www.iron-cap.io/, which the Central Bank said are not currently active. According to the Central Bank, the unauthorised firm cloned the name, address and registration details of a legitimate firm, AGF International Advisors Company Limited, reference CBI00022137, which is authorised by the Central Bank. It said there is no connection between the authorised firm and the unauthorised entity operating under the Iron-Cap/IRONCAP name. The firm name was published under section 53 of the Central Bank Supervision and Enforcement Act 2013.
