The Montenegro Capital Market Authority announced that board member Ana Pivljanin and adviser Sara Pejović took part in the 10th executive education program for financial market regulators jointly organized by the International Organization of Securities Commissions and Harvard Law School Executive Education. The multi-day program brought together representatives of supervisory authorities from multiple jurisdictions to discuss current challenges in financial market oversight and development. The agenda covered changes in market structure, management of systemic risk, stronger international regulatory cooperation and the need to adapt supervisory frameworks to rapid technological change. It also focused on risk-based supervision, oversight of crypto-asset markets and digital financial services, operational resilience, cybersecurity, anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism, compliance responsibilities within financial institutions and market abuse investigations.

The Montenegro Capital Market Authority said two of its representatives attended the 10th IOSCO and Harvard Law School Executive Education program for financial market regulators. The program focused on issues including risk-based supervision, crypto-asset oversight, operational resilience, cybersecurity, AML/CFT and market abuse investigations.
