The Central Bank of Seychelles held a management retreat to translate its board’s renewed strategic direction into operational priorities for the next phase of its 2024-2028 Strategic Plan. The exercise focused on aligning initiatives with the central bank’s mandate, resources and delivery capacity. Management considered the implications of economic and geopolitical developments, the potential use of technology including artificial intelligence to improve efficiency, and the leadership, workforce and culture needed for execution. The retreat’s outcome will inform further prioritization of resources, capacity and leadership attention, providing the basis for a Strategic Implementation Roadmap.
