The Czech National Bank will continue exchanging its CZK 5,000 anniversary banknotes from Sept. 29 on subsequent working days while stocks last. The central bank estimates that the 200,000 available notes will last until around Oct. 9. They can be obtained at its cash offices in Prague, Brno, Ostrava and Hradec Králové only in exchange for Czech banknotes of the same value. Stocks of the accompanying presentation sleeve are expected to sell out by the end of September. The central bank produced 30,000 sleeves, priced at CZK 100 including value-added tax, and plans no further print run of either the notes or sleeves. Issued on Sept. 22, the banknote marks the centenary of the start of operations of the National Bank of Czechoslovakia and features a special holographic additional print.

The Czech National Bank will continue exchanging 200,000 CZK 5,000 anniversary banknotes from Sept. 29, with supplies expected to last until around Oct. 9. The 30,000 presentation sleeves are expected to sell out by the end of September, and no further print run is planned.
