The National Securities and Stock Market Commission of Ukraine approved two draft amendments intended to simplify filings by asset management companies and collective investment funds and clarify registration procedures. The proposals cover the registration of unit fund prospectuses and investment certificate issues, as well as amendments to collective investment fund regulations. The drafts would remove comparative tables from documents submitted when amending fund regulations and unit fund prospectuses, reducing filing requirements. They would also require an asset management company to submit its application and supporting documents no later than 30 working days before the relevant period expires, clarify the documents required when a corporate fund changes its regulations and require updated certificates within three working days when reported information changes during the review. Following final approval by the Commission, the regulatory acts will be submitted to Ukraine’s Ministry of Justice for state registration.
