The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority has opened the AML/CFT Annual Statistical Return for the 2024 reporting year, requiring all regulated and registered firms to complete the return via the STRIX portal by 31 March 2025. The Authority linked the data collection to its risk-based supervision, including supervisory engagement planning undertaken each April, and to supporting the Island’s work to develop and publish its third National Risk Assessment. It also confirmed a standing annual deadline of 31 March with a three-month submission window, and pointed firms to updated Return Guidance published in December 2024. The Authority indicated the guidance will be maintained as a “living document” with updates during 2025 as questions and themes emerge, and that dedicated supervisory staff have been assigned to support firms completing the return.
