Oman's Ministry of Finance said Oman participated by videoconference in the 125th meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee, with Finance Minister Sultan bin Salem Al Habsi attending alongside officials from the ministry, Royal Oman Police and the Tax Authority, as the committee reviewed recommendations from GCC finance ministry undersecretaries, central bank governors, the Gulf Common Market Committee, the Customs Union Authority and tax administration heads, and examined progress in free trade agreement negotiations with other countries and international groups as well as developments toward Gulf economic unity.
