It reminded customers that banks do not send SMS messages or emails containing links to conduct transactions, or request login passwords or one-time passwords by phone, email or SMS. Anyone who disclosed personal information or conducted a financial transaction in response to these scams should contact the relevant bank and report the matter to the Hong Kong Police Force.
