The Oman Financial Services Authority has completed the two-week Promising Investor programme, run with the University of Technology and Applied Sciences, to build financial literacy among school students. The initiative focused on money management, saving, investing and financial planning, and forms part of the authority’s broader financial awareness efforts for younger age groups. The programme brought together 60 male and female students from across Oman, selected under specific criteria. Training combined workshops and practical sessions on personal budgeting, saving tools, investment fundamentals, long-term financial planning, risk analysis and financial market simulations. Participants were also introduced to modern investment tools and techniques and were guided by financial sector specialists in developing a personal financial plan.
