The State Bank of Pakistan announced it will celebrate Women Entrepreneurship Day 2025 on 19 November, running activities across Pakistan through its 16 field offices, with the main ceremony hosted at SBP Karachi. The programme includes nationwide workshops, awareness campaigns on financing schemes and mentorship initiatives focused on women’s financial inclusion and entrepreneurial capability. The main ceremony will recognise high-performing banks and women-led businesses across categories including Innovative Leadership, Social Impact, Sustainability Champion and Resilience, and will also announce the winners of the Business Idea Competition 2025. SBP also highlighted outcomes from last year’s outreach, which included more than 50 sessions engaging over 1,500 women entrepreneurs and around PKR 24 billion in bank disbursements to over 20,000 women-led businesses, alongside awards for entrepreneurs and banks.
