The Argentina Securities Commission (CNV) took part in the Argentine Economic Congress held during the 12th Expo Argentina de Economía, Finanzas e Inversiones (EFI), represented by CNV vice president Patricia Boedo and technical teams, and participated in sessions focused on capital markets priorities. At the opening, Economy Minister Luis Caputo set out national economic policy lines and described challenges in implementing measures to support private-sector development, while President Javier Milei highlighted recent macroeconomic results cited by the government. Boedo also attended the “Capital Markets” panel with representatives from A3, MAV and BYMA and the Chamber of Agents, where speakers highlighted current sector challenges and the need to strengthen investment in technology to improve market efficiency, transparency and competitiveness over the medium to long term; Boedo framed CNV’s participation as part of its focus on institutional strengthening and deeper coordination between public and private sector actors.
