India's International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) signed a memorandum of understanding with the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), establishing a formal framework for cooperation on areas relevant to the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC). The MoU covers collaboration on corporate law, sustainable finance, environmental, social and governance (ESG), cross-border transactions and restructuring, and research activities aligned to the IFSC ecosystem’s needs. Joint work is expected to include training programmes, knowledge initiatives and advocacy events intended to strengthen regulatory processes and governance standards within the IFSC.
