The Palestine Capital Market Authority has granted Global Securities Company an operating permit to conduct trading in non-regulated foreign exchanges (forex), after the firm completed the Authority’s technical and legal requirements. The approval followed the company’s connection to the Authority’s central depository system and an assessment by the Authority’s General Administration of Financial Markets of the readiness of the firm’s electronic systems and compliance with the Authority’s requirements and instructions. The Authority said the decision brings the number of firms it has licensed for this forex activity to four and reiterated that investors should deal only with entities licensed by the Authority and listed on its official website.
