The Authority for Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AMLA) announced a public hearing on 24 March 2026 covering two draft regulatory technical standards (RTS) under Regulation (EU) 2024/1624, one on identifying business relationships and certain transactions and another on applying customer due diligence in practice. Feedback on both draft RTS remains open until 8 May 2026 (23:59 CEST). The first session (10:00–12:00 CET) covers the draft RTS under Article 19(9), which sets criteria for identifying business relationships, occasional and linked transactions and lower thresholds. The second session (13:30–15:30 CET) covers the draft RTS under Article 28(1), specifying how obliged entities should apply customer due diligence requirements in practice, including the information and documents to be collected. Participation is limited to registered participants, with individual access codes and instructions to be provided by email following registration.
