The Bank of Thailand Board approved three senior management appointments as part of an organizational restructuring, effective Oct. 1, 2026. The changes cover leadership of financial institution stability, payment systems and financial services supervision, and consumer protection and retail lending supervision. Suwannee Jatsadasak will become deputy governor for financial institutions stability, succeeding Roong Mallikamas, who will serve as adviser to the governor following her early retirement. Daranee Saeju will be promoted to deputy governor for payment systems stability and financial services supervision, while Pirajit Padmasuta will become assistant governor for financial consumer protection and retail lending supervision.
