The Minister of State in the Ministry of Sports, Rwego Ngarambe, highlighted the need for athletes to have the financial knowledge to sustain themselves during their careers and after retirement, encouraging saving and investing through Rwanda’s capital market as preparation for life beyond competition. The session was framed against the expansion of Rwanda’s sports sector and aimed to equip athletes with tools to protect income, plan ahead and use formal investment opportunities available through the capital market.
