Mexico’s National Commission for the Protection and Defence of Users of Financial Services (CONDUSEF) published fourth quarter 2025 results of the User Service Performance Index (Índice de Desempeño de Atención a Usuarios, IDATU) for regulated multiple-purpose financial companies (Sociedades Financieras de Objeto Múltiple, Entidad Regulada, SOFOM E.R.), a measure of how these institutions handle and resolve user complaints. The sector index stood at 8.8 out of 10, up 0.2 points from the previous quarter. Top-scoring institutions were GM Financial de México, S.A. de C.V., SOFOM, E.R. (10), Mercader Financial, S.A., SOFOM, E.R. (9.59), and Con Crédito (formerly Fin Útil), S.A. de C.V., SOFOM, E.R. (9.55). The lowest scores were recorded by Ford Credit de México, S.A. de C.V., SOFOM, E.R. (8.38), Opcipres, S.A. de C.V., SOFOM, E.R. (7.60), and Consupago, S.A. de C.V., SOFOM, E.R. (7.24). CONDUSEF framed the IDATU as a transparency tool to help users compare SOFOM E.R. performance and make more informed decisions.
