The Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) and Open Ownership have launched the Global Open Data Integration Network (GODIN), a collaboration intended to strengthen open data interoperability, accessibility and transparency across sectors. GODIN focuses on integrating Legal Entity Identifiers (LEIs) into open data sources and aligning practices with global standards, including the LEI System and the Beneficial Ownership Data Standard, with the stated aim of creating a more transparent and interconnected ecosystem for public and private sector use. Participating organisations are expected to benefit from shared expertise, improved data integration and opportunities to co-develop solutions.
