The Bank of Spain agreed with the University of Castilla-La Mancha to collaborate on a pilot project aimed at boosting financial education, under which the central bank will train university staff so they can disseminate financial education content. The agreement was reached between Bank of Spain Governor José Luis Escrivá and University of Castilla-La Mancha Rector José Julián Garde, with Escrivá indicating the pilot could be scaled to other universities. During the visit, Escrivá also presented the Quarterly Report on the Spanish Economy at the university’s Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences in Albacete, highlighting the economy’s strong performance amid slowing activity and high international uncertainty.
