The European Financial Reporting Advisory Group welcomed the appointments of Steven Maijoor as chair of the IFRS Foundation Trustees, Sam Woods as chair of the International Accounting Standards Board and Laura Forzani as managing director of the IFRS Foundation. EFRAG said it looks forward to working with the new leadership to strengthen cooperation on corporate reporting standards that support consistency, comparability and transparency while reflecting the needs of different jurisdictions and stakeholders.
