The Central Bank of Egypt reported that remittances from Egyptians working abroad rose 31.2% year on year in July-May of fiscal year 2025/2026 to about USD 43.1 billion from about USD 32.8 billion, while May 2026 inflows increased 13.5% to about USD 3.9 billion from about USD 3.4 billion in May 2025.
