The Central Bank of Aruba published its second-quarter 2026 real-sector tables, showing faster stay-over tourism growth, a rebound in business sentiment and a modest improvement in consumer confidence. Stay-over visitor arrivals rose 13% from a year earlier and visitor nights increased 14.1%. The Business Perception Index climbed to 107.5 from 104.3 in the first quarter, while the Consumer Confidence Index rose to 93.6 from 92.7 but remained in pessimistic territory. Consumer prices were 2.4% higher than a year earlier at the end of the quarter, while period-average inflation reached 2.2%. The number of construction permits increased to 267 from 208 a year earlier, and their value rose to AWG 321.3 million from AWG 143.5 million. The tables also provide provisional estimates showing that real gross domestic product grew 3.4% in 2025, while nominal GDP increased 5.8%.
