The People’s Bank of China announced it will issue a 2026 version of the Chinese Dragon Silver Commemorative Coin on January 15, 2026 as legal tender of the People’s Republic of China. The coin’s obverse features the Great Wall with the country name and year, while the reverse shows a Chinese dragon with an auspicious cloud motif. It is a general silver coin containing 31.104 grams of sterling silver, with a fineness of 99.9%, a diameter of 38 mm, and a denomination of 10 yuan, with maximum circulation set at 2,000,000 pieces. Minting will be carried out by Shenzhen Guobao Mint Co., Ltd., with distribution by China Gold Coin Group Co., Ltd.
