The Central Bank of Myanmar issued a joint announcement that 29 affiliated exporter companies and their board members have been removed from the blacklist and the Myanmar entry and exit prohibition after their export revenues were fully reinstated. The delisting relates to blacklists applied by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Immigration and People’s Power to companies that failed to re-enter export revenues, including 29 companies with USD 500,000 or more in export revenues not re-entered following exports in 2020 and cases linked to non-re-entry during 2021, as well as 197 companies that exported goods between 2016 and 2020 without re-entering export revenues.
