China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission published an account of a February 7 to 8 supervisory research visit to Liaoning led by Li Yunze, Party Committee Secretary and Director of the State Administration of Financial Regulation. The visit centred on strengthening coordination between central and local supervision, preventing and resolving financial risks, and supporting high-quality development through financial services. Meetings with Liaoning provincial and Dalian municipal leaders focused on orderly risk prevention and resolution in key areas, accelerating reform and transformation of local small and medium-sized financial institutions, and guiding banking and insurance institutions to increase financing support for major local projects, key projects and weak links, aligned with the five major articles of finance. The delegation also visited the Liaoning and Dalian Financial Supervision Bureaus and the Lighthouse and Linghai Financial Supervision Branches, calling for stronger grassroots party building, expanded annual action under the four new projects, enhanced five major supervisions, improved branch duty-performance, and fuller use of the four-level vertical management framework, alongside ensuring uninterrupted basic financial services.
