The Ukraine National Commission on Securities and Stock Market held a two-day training programme for its staff on implementing the European Union crowdfunding regulation. The initiative is intended to prepare the regulator to oversee crowdfunding platforms and support the alignment of Ukrainian legislation with EU standards in this area. Supported by the EU's Ukraine2EU initiative, the training covered platform operating rules, licensing conditions, investor protection tools, supervisory models, key market risks, and the role of crowdfunding in raising funding for small and medium-sized businesses. It ended with a practical workshop based on European case studies.
