The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission announced the conclusion of the three-day Global Financial Leaders’ Investment Summit in Hong Kong, culminating in the “Conversations with Global Investors” investment forum jointly organised with the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and the Hong Kong Academy of Finance. The forum brought together around 300 overseas and local leaders from financial markets, business and the public sector to discuss investment opportunities and evolving risks. The programme featured more than 20 global investors and covered geo-economic fragmentation, shifting dynamics in asset management and alternative investments, the investment landscape in Asia, and how artificial intelligence and digital innovation are changing investment practices, risk assessment and portfolio management. In total, the Summit attracted over 300 participants, including more than 100 group chairmen and chief executive officers from banks, securities firms, asset owners, asset managers, private equity and venture capital firms, hedge funds and insurers.
