The Brazil Securities Commission has announced its programme for Global Money Week 2026, the annual financial education campaign running from 16 to 22 March under the theme “Falar de Dinheiro Transforma”. The week will feature free lectures, workshops, livestreams, debates and other activities delivered online, in person and in hybrid formats, with the campaign’s launch marked by an opening bell ceremony at B3 on 16 March at 08:30. CVM will take part in the opening ceremony through Interim President João Accioly and the Superintendent for Investor Guidance and Sustainable Finance, José Alexandre Vasco. Its schedule also includes a 16 March 15:00 panel on securitisation, a 17 March 15:00 lecture on excessive indebtedness, and a 20 March 15:00 session on CVM’s surveillance and response to financial frauds. Separately, CVM is producing a video series covering capital markets, the crypto economy and financial planning, featuring CVM staff and partners including ABCripto, Anbima and Planejar, to be published on the CVM Educacional YouTube channel.
