The Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation has named Vivid Money as the latest Validation Agent in the Global Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) System, enabling its SME and freelancer clients across Europe to obtain LEIs directly through Vivid Money’s standard know-your-customer and onboarding processes in partnership with Ubisecure RapidLEI. The integration is positioned as supporting compliance with EU requirements including the Instant Payment Regulation, the Digital Operational Resilience Act and the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation, and aligns with the Financial Action Task Force’s updated Recommendation 16, which highlights LEIs as a tool for payment transparency. As a Validation Agent, Vivid Money is expected to help broaden LEI uptake across financial and non-financial use cases such as cross-border payments, supply chain digitalization and environmental, social and governance reporting.
