The Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority reported that Mwanamke Initiatives Foundation presented it with an appreciation award for its contribution and cooperation in delivering a clean cooking energy dialogue in Kizimkazi, Zanzibar. The award was presented on Aug. 11 at an event attended by President Samia Suluhu Hassan and representatives from government, business, religious groups and the mining sector. The authority also reiterated its support for youth economic empowerment through art, innovation, skills and technology, including activities that create self-employment and income opportunities.
