The Bank of Canada published its 2027 calendar for policy interest rate announcements, the quarterly Monetary Policy Report and other major publications. The eight rate announcements are scheduled for Jan. 27, March 3, April 28, June 2, July 21, Sept. 8, Oct. 27 and Dec. 8, each at 9:45 a.m. Eastern time. The Monetary Policy Report will accompany the January, April, July and October announcements. The Business Outlook Survey and Canadian Survey of Consumer Expectations will be released on Jan. 18, April 19, July 12 and Oct. 18 at 11:30 a.m. Eastern time. The Financial Stability Report is scheduled for May 18 at 10 a.m. Eastern time. The bank also reconfirmed its remaining 2026 rate announcement dates of Sept. 2, Oct. 28 and Dec. 9.
